Sononaut Founder Christian Curtis worked with Ninja Tune / Coldcut founder Matt Black and creative studio Seeper in prototyping the app.

We prototyped the app using Cycling ’74s Max and TouchOSC to develop the functionality and user interaction prior to the iOS build.

Excerpt from an interview Matt did with Create Digital Music:

“I knocked up a demo using Ableton and a Launchpad for a mixer app, and at the same time long time Seeper collaborator Christian Curtis had created a MaxMSP patch which cut up loops and also had a brilliant waveform interaction mode.
